Stats and percentages of ATPs doesnt mean much without the missing data of percentages hired recently across the majors.

Until then we have two competing opinions.

Facts.

Oh and they happen to have big "titties".... Yeah it's probably just the titties.

There are many women that deserve the opportunity, but as stated about some have been hired that are well below the qualifications of the average regional pilot. It's the 2000tt with 500sic that have no degree and are hired that really fuels the fire.

The interview should be based on qualifications alone.

I'll be the first to say that there are plenty of qualified female pilots out there. My mom was one of them. But there is zero doubt she was hired when she was hired because she was a woman. Late 70s. Weren't too many of them out there at that time.

I flew with this person a few months ago. Good pilot, good attitude, and she spent some time on the Brasilia which is always a good thing. I'm happy to hear she has moved on.

We can debate the specifics of why said person was hired, but I am sure that we can all agree that it is a very good thing that Delta is hiring many of our pilots regardless of how many hours TPIC they have.

Any man or woman who would like to read a great aviation book, read Aviatrix, first woman pilot at Hughes Airlines.

So what the deal with the IAH re-bid? Another few days before the results are released?

IAH re-bid? I thought its closure was a sure thing?

In terms of upgrade/transfer bidding, I know it's close to process the awards, but, when does it open back up?
