If being home for the holidays during training is a big factor behind one's selection of company...then perhaps said person ought to overhaul their decision-making process....

Compensation, bases, commuter policy, etc etc are so much MORE critical in choosing at which regional to give your soul....

Training is approximately 8 weeks including CTP. It is broken down as follows:
  • One week of CTP class,
  • One week of Indoc training,
  • Three weeks of Ground School,
  • Approximately three weeks of Sim training.

CRJ 700/900 Differences Training follows some time thereafter - could be immediately or in the future. Initial is at SkyWest training facility at the SLC airport. Occupancy was double for CTP, Indoc, and Ground. Single occupancy throughout sim training. However, if you want single occupancy, you can do that for the complete schedule.

Sim training for our class was in SLC except for three of our guys. They ended up going to CVG and ATL. I heard that the class following ours was all CVG and ATL.

Can anyone on the inside share some data, i'm about to interview:

CRJ doh for most junior pilot at FAT, SFO, SEA and LAX
and the reserve times at those bases

ERJ doh for most junior pilot at SFO, SEA, LAX and reserve times at those bases.
Trying to decide which equipment to choose.
Which one will get me more hours on a west coast base my first year?
Much appreciated.
