Was that due to hidden bonuses outside of the hourly pay and per diem or very minimal reserve time and LOTS of flying?

There's a $7500 bonus for prior 121/135 or type rating over 12,500 pounds (regardless of pic/sic). You only get the bonus once ie you won't get 15k for being typed in a G5 flying corporate. Generally you make hourly x 1000 minimum do you're looking at 37,000 plus bonus if applicable. That doesn't include pilot sharing which varies.

Well FWIW, I have made slightly over $36k thus far on $36.50 per hour; was on reserve for four months, thereafter I had a line ever since. I am on month ten of one full year being here, so I will likely make slightly more than $40k for year one. It took a heck of lot of OT flying roughly 90 to 100 block per month for every month of being here to do that. No sign-on bonus, if any of you get that good for you.

Wow
It wasnt long ago I netted less than 20k.

This is good to see.

Last I heard SKYW did have a conditional sign on bonus for qualifying applicants.

No bonus except for the one that all pilots get (can't remember which one). Believe it or not, I spent more time on reserve than I would have liked but I picked up some extra flying, some at OT, and some junior manning. I broke guarantee a couple times. If I was a line holder the whole time, I probably would have made more. I included per di in the total figure, but I figured if some of the other companies are including that in their total compensation figures, I would throw it in there too.

How often does skywest junior man ORD reserves in the busy summer months? I'd guess that's when it happens most, anyway.

We have no junior man. They will call and ask if you want to fly but you are in no way obligated to accept.
