So end of July new hires holding a line in ORD?
Even looking at PBS numbers in SkyWestOnline shows 144 target line holders for December. 144 on a seniority list in ORD was hired end of February, not July.
So if 9 months is roughly 4 months than yes it's correct.

End of June new hire hold a line in DTW in December, which is 5 months, Begining of June new hire will hold a line in FAT in December, which is almost 6 months. All other bases more than 6 months as of December.

Now take off the time for trainining, IOE, and all the people not bidding in ORD and I bet you are closer to 4 months. Being a smart ass almost worked for you!

I wish I'd be smartass, just a reserve guy who barely flying 30 hours a months with a "Call First" Yes and picking up extra flying on a days off. Reality is for most of the bases CRJ is as overstaffed as ERJ used to be. New hires needs to be ready for that, and not to expect line right out of training. It's no longer the case.

Having said that, I think that SKYW is still on of the better if not the best package out there.

We are in no way over staffed on CRJ or ERJ.
