To bad ExpressJet doesn't have that option. Skywest Inc. dictates where the flying goes, not us. Why do you think we return our planes to the desert, and you guys pick them right up? Why are you flying around those AS tail numbers that we used to fly? What about- the -900's that we were suppose to get, that Skywest took instead? What about the few dual class aircrafts that are registered to us, flown by you?

And my rational for participating in a skywest thread as an expressjet pilot, are you kidding me? For one, this is an open forums, not a SAPA forum. Two, why are you discussing XJT on a Skywest thread then? Three, we are both owned by Skywest, Inc. Or are us scum over here not good enough for you since we don't have those bad ass E175's and your UWET that you get?

We could easily staff what we have now, and maybe a little bit more. Maybe we wouldn't have recruitment issues if we didn't continue to lose airframes to Skywest as well.

Yes it's a open forum but just seems odd that you hang around on a thread of a company you dislike.
Expressjet entered the discussion because there was an announcement that effects both companies because as you mentioned were part of Skywest inc together.
As for your last sentence that's your own vitriol.

Or is it the other way around and you're losing airframes because you can't staff and therefor you're unreliable.

And he has good reason to surf this sub-forum. What happens at SkyWest Airlines directly affects his 1/2 of SkyWest Inc. I'm amazed a CA at SkyWest can't draw the connection.

Lots of butt hurt today I see!! Buying express jet was probably the worst decision Skywest ever made. Should have let them shut down years ago! Welcome to the airlines!

Or is Delta just slowly shifting aircraft to their WO carrier Endeavor in anticipation of what things will look like in 4-6 years?

I couldn't agree any more with this. And us ASA guys got stuck with the short end of the stick because of Inc's business decision.
