Consolidation at the regional level is only just beginning. All the majors already went through it....

I think the writing has been on the wall for years. ASA's downfall was when inc bought XJT and lumped them in.. Now the clean up begins.. and maybe just maybe in 2019-20+ is when there is a chance of growth. But what will XJT be down to aircraft wise?.. just the 700/900's.. at that point "maybe" they will merge what is left into SkyWest. (600~pilots) lets revisit this in 5 years and see.. Endevor sounds like strong rumors of a ATL base.. They wont have a hard time recruiting.. Not to mention the flow and bonus they offer.

Some places are offering crazy bonuses and you really have to ask yourself why? Is it just out of the goodness of their hearts? If you own a business how likely are you to give 20k to 2000 plus employees? Exactly. Second year isn't that good after that first year bonus is gone and I believe endeavors bonus program ends next year.

It'll probably be a former SkyWest guy doing the recommending from within Delta, too. They're hiring a ton of our captains lately.

We could easily staff what we have now, and maybe a little bit more. Maybe we wouldn't have recruitment issues if we didn't continue to lose airframes to Skywest as well.
And my rational for participating in a skywest thread as an expressjet pilot, are you kidding me? For one, this is an open forums, not a SAPA forum. Two, why are you discussing XJT on a Skywest thread then? Three, we are both owned by Skywest, Inc. Or are us scum over here not good enough for you since we don't have those bad ass E175's and your UWET that you get?

Delta is giving thousand dollar referral bonuses to their pilots every time a Delta Pilot recommends an entry-level pilot for Endeavor.

Endeavor is not around to be deltas only feed, at most they were purchased to provide lift ar the regional level that delta can control should other lift providers go under, which is not happening yet.
