I have the uflymike set up and I know you can adjust the squelch but still get a lot of feedback with hotmic. Furthermore I don't think they are making them anymore since the qc-15 is being replaced by bose

They are making a new mic called the harmony. Supposed to work with the qc-25 in addition to the earlier models depending on which mic you buy. Not sure when it's being released though.

Been on 175 reserve since February. Regret not visiting this forum before requesting the 175 (I'm a big boy so naturally I asked for the most comfy flight deck.) Have any new hire FO's transitioned from the Ejet to the CRJ? Is this unheard of?

I see 1 awarded erj to crj this year. You should see some relief with ppl moving out west, lots of movement throughout the company but def a lot of planes coming to west coast, you'll see people moving west I think

I talked to them about a month ago and she said they'd be shipping around the first part of September. I will upgrade mine when it starts shipping and sell the old on eBay. I've got 5000 hours out of it and couldn't be happier.

I'm hearing people talk about making the switch. New guys, don't chase the plane, go for base and QOL.

Have a Ejet class date of 11/10 but may be looking to move to CRJ. Ex Mesa pilot and looking at the forum Ejet seems like a long sit on reserve. Eventually want west coast but live in PHX. What would be the excepted time before getting PHX after IOE? Any truth to rumor of BOI becoming a Ejet base? What equipment would be less time on reserve? Other that base choice, any material difference on QOL between CRJ & Ejet at Skywest?

Rumors are rumors until they become fact, that being said there seems to be a lot of factors favoring BOI as a potential base. Any base can be held in about 6 months, as for PHX can't really say, we've agreed to move 30 planes from UA to AA (700s), they will be spread throughout the AA bases such as OrD, PHX and lax is my understanding, so think PHX is a possibility in short order and becoming a more viable base than it used to be. Crj is less time on reserve right now if you go ORD/MSP/DTW, but skywestnis getting 50 175s in the next year so could go down. 19( I believe) 175s for delta that are def going to SEA and one other base (guess is lax)
