Rumors are rumors until they become fact, that being said there seems to be a lot of factors favoring BOI as a potential base. Any base can be held in about 6 months, as for PHX can't really say, we've agreed to move 30 planes from UA to AA (700s), they will be spread throughout the AA bases such as OrD, PHX and lax is my understanding, so think PHX is a possibility in short order and becoming a more viable base than it used to be. Crj is less time on reserve right now if you go ORD/MSP/DTW, but skywestnis getting 50 175s in the next year so could go down. 19( I believe) 175s for delta that are def going to SEA and one other base (guess is lax)

With the amount of growth the 175 is going to have on the west coast, I'd recommend going 175 if a west coast base is what you're looking to attain.
If you want mid west basing, the CRJ is your best bet.

SEA/PDX, that being said nothing is off the table, if you want SFO it probably won't be long. ORD is strangely senior right now but look for some movement to the west.

You should be able to hold it fairly quickly; however, the RJ in LA has a lot of senior FOs, so moving up the seniority list might be a slow process as compared to other bases.
For example: This month, FO's with over a year and a half at the company got pushed back to reserve. That's how it is right now, but of course is subject to change for new hires today.
