It would take at least 3 months after IOE to hold LAX on the CRJ.
LAX is being issued right out of training on the E175 at the moment.
SEA just went really junior on the E175, if you are looking to go to the west coast somewhere.

For those on property, please vote in the PBS transparency vote (vote yes). It'll mean we can see the awards for all other pilots to see how senior or junior pairings go. Most other airlines have this ability, and will hopefully lead to better accountability should trips be awarded out of seniority, i.e., globalization.

Um, no. I for one am junior and know how to bid. It's why my schedule comes out consistently better than captains with years of seniority on me. It's not my fault they don't understand how PBS works and I do. I don't want them seeing how often my schedule is better than theirs and realizing they need to bid differently to get what they want.
If you're junior, and actually really know how to bid, this is a bad idea, long term your schedule will turn worse.

Transparency is never a bad thing, unless you have something to hide.

It's not a important tool, educating yourself on PBS is the best tool you can have instead of coming up with conspiracy theories, I've yet to see once in the Sapa forums where someone complained and they couldn't figure out where they went wrong. It's not that someone junior go to t, it's that you're too restrictive or don't understand what properties over ride others.

All though I do agree that it will balance the playing field with peoples bids in the future.
I am Jr. as well, and do just fine with what my seniority can hold by bidding smartly. With awards being made public, I bet my line awards will be less than I want in the future, but will be better for the pilot group in the long term.

Q: Can other pilots see how I bid?
A: No, only the awarded line can be seen. It is possible in the future that the pilots might be able to see how their bid for pairings percolated through the system among other pilots, but how they bid would still be protected.
Come on guys. Do an ounce of reading.
Shame

Those who are not getting the schedules their seniority allows them to hold simply do not know how to bid. It would be wise to educate themselves on how the bidding system works. Some properties cannot be used together so PBS will just give you trips of its choosing because you've asked the impossible.
I've always had great luck with bidding since my first month with a line because I chose to learn how pbs worked.
I will still be voting yes. Many of the ones who haven't taken the time to learn PBS this far likely won't take the effort to learn it now but transparency will be a good thing overall.
They better get a few more phone lines for the PBS hotline though. If they think there are complaints now, wait until there's bid transparency.
