Geez you're such a troll. 😂

CRJ will be the best airframe for newhires, the ER7 is going more senior by the day, and will continue. Senior SKYW guys are wary of anything new, for good reason, past experience! Just because you can get into a senior base, doesn't mean that's gonna be the best for your QOL. Reserve is a special kind of he11 that only a true masochist would savor.

Reflow agreement was perfectly timed for this special kind of he11. I bet the conversation was like...
Management: We'll raise first year pay like we said we would if you'll let us completely end QOL and make everyone reserves.

SAPA: OMG!! We love it! Btw love the new mystic mountain blue berry koolaid. It's like so awesome!

Complete and utter waste of "representation".

You get what you pay for.

Inc pays for SAPA.

Hmmm. Wonder what should change?

I agree with this. I am in base on reserve and its great. Play BF4 and get paid for it. I am so good at it I got a raise today too!

Uhh... what about getting total time so you can move on up and move on out? If you're 'comfortable' where you're at, that's good but reserve is like a stall in your career.

For newhires, the correct way to bid aircraft when asked what aircraft you want is "I would like the ERJ, but will take the CRJ".

Why? If you say ERJ only, you will not fly. If you say CRJ only, you get seat locked for a year and a half. ERJ will take CRJ, seat lock only a year :)

This was from the lovely ladies at HR in St. George so take it for what its worth.

They don't fly the 175 FO reserves. I picked up some time on my days off but that is all I will fly. I've just accepted the fact that until block hours increase or I hold a line, I may as well get good at BF4!

With the more senior CRJ transitions coming over my upward movement has been almost nil. Also I refuse to pick up stand ups in SFO on my days off. So not much choice

Or, you could log into SWOL, and read your message from TG about the raise... There's always that...

Checked my email again, yep still nothing. Check the SAPA page, nothing but crickets on the forums and nothing from any SAPA rep. So please tell me again how easy it is to find this big announcement other than this forum? I'm assuming that since you got the email you are still on first year pay?? If so, congrats on the raise. Hopefully the rest of the pilot group can continue to give up QOL items to help pay for it.

Announced same day as RAH files for bankruptcy.

Priceless.

Little did I know from when I posted my original message about 12 hours ago that Republic was going to announce the bankruptcy and we would know exactly why this was forced through so fast. And we have these supposed conference calls to keep the pilot group in the loop and yet none of this was on the call today??

So now not only do we have no say in how many hours we are "awarded" with our bid, we will have no say in hour many hours we are flown per month. My conservative estimates of an extra 10 hours of forced flying was before the Republic announcement. Time for all those senior guys to see what reserve hell is since we will all be reserve pilots from here on out. If the silence from our fearless leaders isn't an indication of selling us out, then they must be working on putting this reflow policy into a pretty slide to show us how great it will be.

What exactly is the process for a recall? I think we need to start with the EB since it is obvious that they are the ones trying to control everything. Maybe we need to do a complete refresh with some of the former SAPA reps that actually understand what this pilot group needs? (NL, MM and others I can't think of right now or know if they are still around) If the reflow policy was pushed through with no input from our pilot group, then there really is no choice to keep our current "leadership" in place. Pilots were very vocal with no wanting this policy or the 91 flying without strict limitations and wins for our group.

What's the schedule for crjs parking? How many crjs park vs e75 come online?

saxman66 02-26-2016 04:05 AM

So where is this new reflow policy found?
