Plenty of options with UA (although being 2 of their crew bases it might get tricky at times). AA has a couple of flights a day (Eagle flights that recently are operated by SkyWest, so better chances there) and Spirit has a couple of flights seasonal from here and there . Pretty doable

Does anyone have numbers on the Q4 performance bonus paid out recently? Where can I find the amount distributed and pilot wide credit?

My bonus was lower than I was expecting so I wanted to do the math.

Well, the operationl performance rewards are posted on SWOL, updated frequently. As for the financial perf reward I think the ballpark formula is to multiply your quaterly earnings times the net margin posted there as well.

I did that commute for about a year. Granted it was abput 3 years ago. Its pretty horrible commute. During this time of year its not too bad.. during summer and holidays though watch out. Ive been bumped from flight after flight. I had to use the commuter clause quite a bit.. if skywest os doing any flights in between the 2 cities that should help.

Which is a better commute from SLC...ORD or DTW?

Both are awful...I know. Just in case I get off IOE and don't have something on the west coast to commute out of SLC. I bid ORD because I figured it was bigger...easier crash pads.

I'd do ORD, it's a delta base to united base. Chicago has a lot of options with a lot of carriers based there, furthermore the public transport is pretty good, so easy to get around especially from crashpads

ORD, more options with flights on SkyWest metal.

Delta hub to hub is pretty hard.

SLC was not an option? The website shows the junior FO as 9/19/16 - basically only 4 months behind DTW/ORD.

I have my bid in for SLC. I'm a 01/02 hire so just planning for the worst if I get off IOE early.

And thanks guys! Just wanted to make sure!

You will be back at SLC within 6 months. Everyone tells me to go where you will fly a line if you aren't based at home.

I may see you at ORD because that is where I am planning to initially bid.
