This. Also many of the pilots getting employed at the worst of the bottom feeders today have no hope of ever progressing to a major. So those will be your co-workers. Enjoy. It's risky business.

Does anybody know how they handle the translation from month to month for reserve pilots? For example if I end the month with 4 days of reserve and I bid for a reserve line with 4 days of reserve to start the next month. I can't be on reserve for 8 days.....How do they handle the translation. Are those days radomly moved? Do you get any input? Thanks!

Is there still a written exam during the interview?

They'll move days around to make it legal, the details should be in the PPM. You do get an input, you can call or email the person who handles your base and they'll try to accommodate your request.

Everything comes from the gouge. Not easy. Not hard. Must prepare.

Nope, and I don't expect one. We have been told multiple times that we need to keep costs down to remain competitive.

Just had my interview. They had me draw out and label an electrical system of my choice and write out 91.175 for the written part.
