Good luck...SFO has not allowed anyone in on either airframe for quite a few months yet. We are heavily overstaffed on both airframes in SFO and LAX, so moving here (SFO) is gonna take a while, alas...

In my humble opinion, under the "old guard", BOI would already have been a base along with other small mx domiciles out in the Midwest.
Chip and Co. strung DTW out to ludicrous levels.

This airline in the last half decade or such has grown by 1/3, in that time we gained DTW but lost most of Kiah. There has been plenty of ability and potential to open new QOL domiciles. SGU hasn't seen the value.

How long would it take to get based in COS or DEN? Also what would a commute from COS or DEN to the obvious new hire bases...ORD and DTW look like?

Den-ord isn't great. Dtw has better loads but waaaaaay less frequency.

There is also a large MX base in BNA with service on multiple partners. I don t know how it holds up size wise compared to Indiana or Tucson, but TUS has a domicile.

Ok thanks for the info on LAX. How are trainees paid while in training?

65 hours a month, no per diem.

Are you paid between CTP and class date?

You are paid for CTP but it won't be paid out until the first pay day of ground school. Usually is about $1900

Is SkyWest still offering the $7500 bonus? And with the soft landing policy would a returning pilot be paid longevity in training?
