It's the exact way. If you did Rucker, this is easy

You'll know how you're doing in ground school. If you feel good enough you'll go home and if you're struggling don't go home. Don't base it off what someone tells you on the Internet who might understand the material a lot better (or worse) than you.

What I did was just planned to not go home. If I got to go home and felt comfortable enough, then it was a win. That way nobody gets disappointed. Everyone has different experiences.

Is it true Skywest does double occupancy during training?

I had dual occupancy in sims at CVG. 2 twin beds 3 feet from each other it wasn't pleasant. Some of the FA's have told me they had triple occupancy! 2 chicks in one bed.

How long is it taking between:
Applying to interview
Interview to class date
Systems to Sim (any pause in training?)
Sim to IOE

Seems to me like DTW is finally going to get 700/900s. When I was there the chief told me it would be April/May, they were just waiting till they could get the base staffed with FAs

You're right that you're paid from day one, but it would be really nice to accrue seniority getting paid to be at home :p

So in my mind the ideal case would be get called quick, short wait for class but once in class a long break between systems and sim, then another nice break until IOE. Get done with IOE in time to bid and go from there. I know that there is no way to control that, but if anyone is going through right now they'll have the best idea of if it's 2-3 days or weeks between things.

Ground to sim was 2 days

Sims to IOE for me was 3 weeks. 01/02 hire and it's dropping for a lot of my classmates

Anyone have a lead on a decent ORD crashpad with April availability?
