I'm guessing with the huge jumps between awards, she's checking as she goes.

If you don't have the required time, you don't get the award.

Correct. Nothing gets published that doesn't meet all of the requirements:

Are you looking at the same award lists I am? Look at the percentage of guys on reserve in West Coast bases (not counting PHX, which is growing quite a bit.) Yes, E175 guys are getting West Coast bases out of training. Now tell me how long they're gonna be on reserve.

A long time.

Another interesting one....

Check out the award in detail. One came from (previous position) ER7 FO MSP....
System glitch or something in the making?

I appreciate all the answers. Looks like I'm going to have a tough decision. I live by Seattle and it looks like I'm going to have to commute for a while no matter which airline I pick. I promised my son that I wouldn't move anymore and he could finish out high school.

Most likely means that they were awarded 175 transition in a previous award but were given an upgrade in this award. So he's still currently an MSP FO but was awarded the 175 last bid and now got the upgrade this bid.....

Upgrades and attrition drive movement too, not just growth.

I'd assume you're in SFO which has been hit hard by the loss of the UA700's. I'd also assume you were not around for the slow death of the bro. Same story, different names. Bid the 175 in SF or upgrade in the mid-west, but staying put in an aircraft being downsized in that market will continue to yield similar results.

West Coast is going to the 175, the CRJ is going to the Mid-West. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

What carrier's flying that they can't handle are you picking up monthly?
