Skywest v2.0

I agree pay needs to go up, but with Mesa I would not believe it's worth that money. They have their Captain's sign a training contract. So first a new hire signs one training contract, then in upgrade they sign another to prevent them from leaving.

You don't consider working 90+ day after day with no reserves to drop as working overtime?
For straight pay no less....

Working overtime means doing extra. If you can't drop awarded flying you are not flying over time. On the other hand if you're flying your awarded line and picking up trips at straight pay then you are doing overtime.
Now what you really mean is wouldn't it be nice to be able to drop. Yes. But sometimes you just have to get workitis if you can't drop.

Oh I see. So when almost every airline in the USA flies 75-85 hours and we fly 90+ awarded we're not working overtime. Got it.
It's forced overtime, but it's overtime.
Lots of carriers with what is considered forced overtime have some sort of override for credit over x amount, making it effectively overtime.
Don't fight it, don't be a company apologist. It's forced overtime.

Im not gonna jump to conclusions about this package until I physically read it, i will say however i am very disappointed that there was literally ZERO communications from SAPA! Not even so much as a email that they are taking place, let alone input from the pilot group. This leads me believe that its not going to be up par with what we are looking for. I understand we cant have everything but this lack of communication isnt going to get us nearly what we deserve. We all know who they are working for...
(edit: okay maybe I am jumping to conclusions a little!)

And you don't find anything wrong with that? I'm not the only one either. If one has to go hunting for information that's not exactly transparent. It is done intentionally.
