Like I said, upgrade into the crj and solve all your problems.
Interviewers and chief pilots all said throughout - "No one is on reserve. We have a pilot shortage. You'll fly as much as you want!" Yea right. |
Like he said, upgrade.
Captains don't sit reserve. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk |

Really? Last nine days of reserve on the CRJ and all I got was a lousy 2:00 standup.

I guessing it was a 10hr overnight. One leg in/out at 1hr each.. That someone droped and keep the 5 legs each day on the other side..

It sounds like he is on reserve pay, so pay doesn’t really matter unles he breaks guarantee. and it doesn’t sound like he will.

Also true. Stand-ups have recently been done in this weird way, if he opens up crew pay I bet the pay on it was original standup pay, and not skedplus adjusted.

I’m surprised not more ASA guys are taking the “soft landings”.. I can see why they may not want to as we (OO) look like the bad guys.. But reality is upgrades are going to crash to under a year. And ATL/DTW will be Jr.. with soft landings you could be on 10 year pay as a Captain in a year.. (assuming your a 8 year ASA pilot)...
