It's not a union thing it's your undercutting everyone else.

Thought most alpa regional airlines try to raise the bar.
You're doing the opposite

Pointless, nobodies raising any bars for long, the only people who have any leverage are CFI's. Regional game is rigged. If you're upwardly mobile, you want growth and upgrades. If you're a lifer you don't want to be COMAIRed at age 58.

SKW has historically operated in the sweet spot between mesa and comair.

Don't like it? Get out.

Says the guy who signed unimaginable concessions a few short years ago.
You can't make this up.
Oh were you still living with your parents then?

How can I not understand you as ridiculous or you having zero valuable time and energy invested in moving passengers.

You work at Endeavor?

Our pay rates are significantly higher than yours. I have absolutely no idea about your work rules, but I'd bet we do better than you do also.

Yeah we don't get the bonus that Delta manages to pay you, but I'll do $10K+ with the ones we get. (Along with the significantly higher pay rates.)

I make $25 an hour more than your highest paid captain and I'm not topped out on the scale and you're talking about us raising the bar? Your pathetic agreement is what management uses to keep our rates low.

Please. Our total compensation is at the top of the regional industry. The ones paying huge bonuses are sinking. We're not undercutting anyone. Why don't you pick the regional ALPA carrier of your dreams and say goodbye. Go enjoy your big fat bonus.

I know exactly how good their work rules are and how well they follow the contract.

I will pick SkyWest every time. That place is a nightmare.

I asked a friend in HR yesterday and he said most of the hiring is going to the CRJ, but with the 25 more E175s coming online, they still need to hire for the E175. As far as a waiting list, I'm not sure.
