I hear an e175 aircraft delivery team (CApt .- BW) is down In the Brazil picking up a new aircraft?

Word of advice from someone who does it, dont come to OO on the 175. It is bloody miserable sitting in Chicago doing no flying. I don't mind being on reserve (expect to be on it for a while) but the lack of flying is horrendous. (unless you like doing nothing). It's the only thing thats driving me to leave SKW.

Reserve on the CRJ sucks too - no flying. I'm getting 2 hours a week.

You should upgrade into the CRJ. You won't have that problem of being able to sit at home all day and collect monthly guarantee for no work ;)
You'll be used and abused. |

Not everyone wants to sit at home and earn monthly guarantee whilst not flying. The thing that gets me the most is why people below me on seniority in the bucket, with their call preference set to "no" are getting assigned trips and I'm not.. and I'm not including the ones that have to do IOE.
This is what you looked like to others when you were doing your previously assigned OE. They do assign out of order by mistake or due to the bucket system. Do you really feel like they are giving a guy who hasn't finished training yet a trip? Pull yourself together Humpty. |

What I dont get is why people are assigned trips below me on seniority in the bucket who have a first call preference set to no AND who have 100 hours in the aircraft already. I'm not the only one noticing this. There are a lot of people getting very frustrated in Chicago. Call the people who want to fly and dont call the people who are happy sitting at home doing nothing. |

Um as i said, im not including the ones that have to do IOE.. and I should of said im also not including the ones that dont yet have 100 hours. We were all in the position of having to do 100 hours and I get that..
