What's up with 193SY (Alaska) being delivered to BOI this AM?? I thought we were wrapped up with 2017 deliveries?

194SY is in the air, on the way too. The short answer is that Horizon is lying to their pilots.

I’m pretty sure they were told a while ago that this was happening. It’s us that hasn’t heard a word about it.

The anouncement said that the deliveries would start next year. These airplanes were built for Horizon to their specifications and were origianlly planned to enter service this year with Horizon. That is why the FAs were sent the bulletin regarding the cabin differences.

Any idea where these aircraft will be based (pdx sea or San?)

They were given a memo that Skywest would get the rest of the jet deliveries for the remainder of the year. It's us that are in the dark about any deliveries between now and spring.

It looks like SAN might be expanding.

As far as I've heard they were told that the aircraft that we are getting are seperate from their order, that their aircraft are being deferred until they fix their staffing problem. Clearly, that is false. These aircraft were built for Horizon. They are not being deferred, they are being diverted. They will never be operated by Horizon. Horizon will never fix their staffing problem and they will not likely ever see anymore jets. Horizon will probably cease to exist within two years. Perhaps three as they wind down the Q400.
