Delta also wanted to not be in the wholly owned business anymore which is why they sold off Compass and Mesaba but couldn't get rid of Comair. But then they turned around and bought Pinnacle (now Endeavor) back to save their lift from going bankrupt. Around the same time, they bring in GoJet for some regional lift as well. So I would take these rumors with a grain of salt.

Yet ExpressJet just got cut.

Ok, Fine. I'll indulge the Troll. Yup, It's perfectly sound logic to argue that because it might be worse at other places, therefore it must be good here simply by comparison (relative privation). The good old "love it or leave it" argument. Of course there is no other alternative, like I don't know........making an effort to improve things. Sound logic man.

Yeah. You're right. Having 90+ hours, min days off, constant reflows, 0 reserve coverage every day, month after month must all the pilots' inability to bid. It has absolutely nothing to do with PBS globalization rules or a complete lack of contractual reserve coverage and staffing levels. It probably also has nothing to do with the company taking on way more flying than it can handle, forcing the pilots to pick up the slack. Nope, you're right, it must just be that none of the pilots can bid properly. Just because you got a good result and are happy with your bid must mean everyone else must be wrong. Genius.

I've been reflowed twice in the last 10 years

I've been awarded 90+ hours once in the last three years.

I'm not all thst senior in my domicile either.

No. Not new, just happening with increasing frequency when ORD and DTW both start nearly every day 36 hrs in advance with 0 CRJ CA reserves.

Go look at the reserve pool for CRJ CAs in DTW for next week right now. I'll save you the trouble. ZERO reserves all next week until Friday for our 2nd largest domicile.

Ok, so what's your point? Just because it isn't happening to you doesn't mean it isn't happening to others. Where are you based? What equipment?

None of what was shared applies in SLC. They would never do that kind of stuff in the holy grail

It’s a euphemism for REFLUX, which sounds like a bad word. :D
