Not necessarily upgrade..... CA class allotments (transition/upgrades). I don't mean to be a jerk but I remember reading on facebook awhile back that someone was complaining about why they are only awarding transitions and not allowing anyone to upgrade........

It's here guys.

Newhire (from XJT) in newhire just got transfered to Upgrade class today.

That's right. Captain upgrade has just become less than 2 weeks.

For ATL or DTW?

ATL.........

Wow, no matter how badly an ASA person may hate INC, being able to *essentially* DEC with up to 10 years of longevity pay while instantly being based back in ATL is an amazing option.

But spite is strong.

nopantsILS 11-02-2017 10:14 AM

Yeah, I was just about to say the same thing. I can understand the hate......but potentially a longtime ASA FO could walk into 7+ year CA pay, upgrade in base, and top of class seniority. OTOH fully understand why many would be anti SKW.

Where can you see that? Or how do you know?

It *should* be seniority order regardless. If junior ERJ folks are sniveling because someone senior on the CRJ got "their" upgrade... don't know what to say to that.

If someone gets bypassed out of seniority order (because they need them in the right seat), then they get CA pay while keeping their FO seniority... not horrible.
