Default Applied

Just applied yesterday and under my submission it says "Closed Complete." Is that a good of bad thing?

Disclaimer: I do not work for SWA nor any other 121 outfit right now

Per what I read on here during the last window: If you apply and almost immediately have your status changed to "closed complete," it usually means that you either don't meet their hiring minimums (or at least the data you supplied them doesn't meet the mins), or maybe you didn't meet some other otherwise-unlisted criteria for this window. Basically it is a computer-generated "thanks but no thanks."

Best of luck!

That would mean that you are no longer being looked at for this position.

After interview, how realistic is it to get a class date within 60 days?

Mine was 48 days and there was a guy in my interview group in the class that started a week ahead of me and another a week after.

This past spring I was in class 5 weeks after my interview date and 3 weeks after my CP board.

I think they are running about 2 classes a month right now whereas up until the summer they were running as many as 4/month.

On the flip side, lots of the trips out of Oakland never leave California.

California cruzin! The guys who like to log IFR bid around these.
Once you're flying for a major 121 carrier, no one really cares anymore what IFR you log...or don't.

Just for the sake of discussion, you aren’t out of the game unless you get the TBNT email.

Do you meet the minimums?

Did you submit both the careers page AND credentials page applications?
