Must have missed a check box somewhere. I have similar times and although I know I’m not competitive I’ve never gotten an instant no during a window.

 

I know it’s not really competitive but I haven’t gotten an instant closed complete. Oh well, guess I’ll wait till next window to try again!

Also just had a Pilot leave from our company at 2550TT and ~1000 Turbine (no PIC) for WN, so I’m not really sure what is and isn’t competitive.

 

Wait seriously? What company? And was that pilot prior military?

Applied yesterday and the status is closed complete.

Currently B787 Capt overseas with approximately 9800 Jet PIC and 16000 Total time. Not sure why it went to closed complete straight away.

Does this mean that I will not be look at during this window?

Just to add a data point for consideration regarding the immediate "closed complete" status: there might not be as many positions available for this posting as in the past and instead of skipping a cycle they continue posting requisitions as often as in the past. Many of those that were successfull in the interview process in July do not have class dates until Oct and possibly Nov. SW has a window from job offer to class date and they might have to extend it due to class dates availability and not new hire availability. I think people typically went as soon as a month in the past, but that isn't the case right now. I have a feeling they are trying to see how these next few classes shake out. I think things will be back to normal next go around. I am not an expert or insider by any means though.

I’m positive they had a fantastic resume (much better than mine probably is!). I was just making the point that maybe my times aren’t too far off base, but who knows!

 

Mine did too, and I’m not sure why because my previous are still showing Submission Recieved. Not sure if we will be looked at in this window or not.

 

Mine just says submitted successfully. Nothing about completed closed. This is the first time I have met the minimums to apply.
