If you meet the requirements it will automatically send an invite for interview. I filled it out and 48hrs later got the email for interview. Same with a good friend, he filled it out and same story within 48hrs the interview email was sent. Try to check all the boxes. Captain, Jet PIC and I think these are the most important. Check Airmen and/or Examiner. If you go to SWA you're going to fly your ass off. Plus no upgrade. Have you seen the 737 cockpit? Why does it still take 2 hands to start the engine? LOL good luck...

That’s right! Upgrade time is 25 years for someone starting today, and that’s in OAK. 30 years in MCO and 34.5 in ATL. I’m hoping that LAX base upgrade time will get down to around 24 years.
But, and there’s a YUGE but...
What you also may not know is that Southwest, always being the cost-cutting innovator, is experimenting with having 2 FO’s up front instead of a captain thereby making upgrade times even longer.

Not sure if I agree with your predictions, the construction of Holiday Inns and Hyatt Places located in remote business parks is up 225% this year which suggest Southwest is about to expand massively. This should happen right around the time the yellow peanuts come back into season.
