I haven't flown with a single Captain who is taking this. This week's skipper is 59 years old, divorced and remarried. Still has a 14 year old at home. Owns a Cessna 180 on floats and an experimental. Has a vacation home and his house in domicile and uses the 180 to commute between the two. Says he can't afford the pay cut to take the early out.
I think the results of this program are going to surprisingly underwhelming.

I'm sure your sample size of skippers you've flown with is massive in the last two weeks. Dude, Chill out.. Your posts across all platforms have become beyond stale.

The CA on the trip I just finished is taking it and he's locked in now. No turning back. He told me one of the assistant CP's told him that over 200 have signed on so far.
Had a non rev CA tell me he's 63 and taking it.
I did talk to a CA this past trip that is 62 and not taking it. He had a pretty good (or bad) reason though. He has to pay his wife 51 TFP in alimony each month. He has to be a very high flier just to make ends meet.
So 2/3 taking it that I've spoken to. Just a small sampling I know.

For everyone not taking if it there’s someone else that is, a lot will take it. Will it be 800 of the top 1000? No it won’t, but if company says to hand out 1000 there will be a 1000 bidding I guarantee it, military guys will cash in on exto.
im in the furlough range and I will say the company has put forth a great attempt to minimize overhead and prevent furlough with this offer.

Hey speaking of avoidance bids, 1) how do I acquire the list. 2) how do I submit someone for the list? Found my first worthy submission, complete D bag. If you have the answer to either/both, please PM me. Thanks!
