How a mask became political shows all that is wrong with the country now.
Will you wear one to improve the lives of all Americans including yourself and your family, town, state?
It is about you but it’s about us also. It’s about a better economy where more Americans are employed, not on Government assistance. Five percent is a huge number of people better off. And in the end we will all be better off. Put a mask on for your country. We are all Americans and we all want to make it out the other side of this with as little harm to our fellow countrymen and women as possible.
I haven’t flown in more than three months and would love my job back. As well as the jobs of my neighbors. I’ll be wearing a mask. For me, but more so for us.
What is the end game? A vaccine is not coming.... Big Pharma is loving the wholesale trillion dollar spending spree by government to catch the bogeyman....There is a reason that researchers are not in charge.....They completely miss the forest for the trees.Looking forward to the end of Corona in November

Exactly this! Unless they are pressed to release a "vaccine" to throw cover on government spending and management. About as effective as the flu shot.

I see mask, hand sanitizer, social distancing, personal responsibility if not feeling well and staying home as our new normal. It sounds like a vaccine may or may not be a long term solution. Herd immunity may never exist since the virus can be re-caught.

Would love to be wrong.
Happy to see a good jobs report, hopefully that continues and the upswing in the economy is real and long lasting with all our flights filling up.

Study out of S Korea found that if you did catch it again you weren’t contagious during the second time.

Well, if that’s true it would be tremendous.

Even the current administration has gone all in on masks now. The argument is over. Trump and Pence have both said to wear them, the CDC has said everyone should wear them, and the surgeon general has gone on TV and called them "implements of freedom". Everyone who is refusing to wear one for some personal political conviction should probably just realize that sometimes we can all sacrifice a little for the common good. You know, like in a crisis.

The masks don't stop the virus (unless they are true N95 masks with a proper fitting), but they do stop the vector that the virus transmits on, which is moisture droplets. If both parties wear one, they are super effective.

But please, link me to some youtube pseudoscientist who argues otherwise while we go back to being shutdown again because everyone is too selfish to wear a freaking cloth on their face.

I'm gonna need to hear Kanye's thoughts before I make a decision...

Interesting you post an article from the WP, and in the same breathe say "not on Government assistance"... Government assistance, the standard in any Democratic run city....

After the way the last 4 months have played out, I am caring less and less for my fellow citizens and their health.

Well here you go:

https://metro.co.uk/2020/07/08/kanye...east-12960320/

It’s so many of our children that are being vaccinated and paralysed… So when they say the way we’re going to fix Covid is with a vaccine, I’m extremely cautious. That’s the mark of the beast. They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of heaven. I’m sorry when I say they, the humans that have the Devil inside them. And the sad thing is that, the saddest thing is that we all won’t make it to heaven, that there’ll be some of us that do not make it.
Glad we got that cleared up!
