If it is true, then what responsibility is the airline taking for this action by passengers especially if it is not enforced by the flight crews ?
I bet you also want 2 seats to yourself. Stay home until you "feel" safe.

Ahh. Finally. An honest admission. Kinda refreshing, in that it pretty much sums up the real reasons behind the thinking of the 'Muh Freedom!!" crowd.

I wear a mask because it reduces the chance of infecting someone else, if I happen to have the 'rona. It's really that simple.

have you been flying the line? Not many are excited about wearing a mask 10+ hrs a day when it's ok to take it off for food, water, inserts any medical reason (insert emotional support animal reasonale) etc. Its all a PR stunt. Make you feel better etc. You're in a tube. Fewer than two feet from eachother and you think a mask will protect you? A mask that is flimsy. Half worn. Extremely uncomfortable, having you constantly readjusting, pulling it down to talk, breath. Touching literally all your belongings while traveling. Other people are not responsible for your safety. Dont predicate your safety on others.
