This is what I think you will see happen here. They will have to there is no other choice for them.

I actually hope one of the other majors goes in front of us. The thing about going first is you set the bar for everyone else to step over and have a better contract.

Yep. That’s what happened in 2016. Delta and ALPA were “too far apart” to get a TA. We get one and magically they get one right before our vote. UAL “me too’d” it leaving AA in the dust until Doug decided it wasn’t worth the fight and brought them up to the other 2.

I don’t care if we’re first as long as there’s a provision to make us equal to NB rates of the big 3 when they sign.

LOL. Labor relations will never allow it. You work with a pilot group that tries to "me too" with flight attendants, not other pilot groups.

Meh. I don’t know how many Captains I flew with that said this around TA1 last time about the B-Fund until we actually got one in TA2. So it may not be as laughable as you may suggest.

Yep. As a probie there were dozens who told me to quit and go somewhere else because we’d never have a B-fund.

And then we got it.

If it’s non-negotiable and they need meat in the seats…honestly, it costs them nothing until other airlines settle…and even then it’s just pay rates. Rigs and other QOL items wouldn’t be applicable.

38 percent of this plot group will vote yes for anything. The company knows this , they only need to get another 12.000001 percent to vote yes ,for getting a garbage contract approved .
