By my math that's 1200 new pilots in what a year?
I dont see it but it does sound like a good goal.
Now wait for the company to say we can only grow this much if you take a cost neutral contract.

I have heard this mega base rumor at DEN for years now and I believe that's the goal. I might disagree with the time frame though.
I didn’t mean 900 pilots a side by the time the terminal expansion, sorry I worded that poorly. By the time the airline expansion is done and I would guess 2-3 years to reach that number in Denver

It worked out pretty well for senior SWA FOs as well after the “capturing” of captain seats was complete. GMAFB.

den has more than 900 right now. I've heard 1200 total as quick as they can for the last 3 yrs.
I agree 2-3 yrs still out on that goal but it's a good goal to have.

Time to close the thread. Whack complaining about the 10 year old merger is the sign that it has come to its logical conclusion.

Worked out great for them in my opinion. Every AirTran pilot I know outside of work would say that.

I would say middle of the road. ATL and MCO are most senior, bunch in the middle (including PHX), and OAK and LAX most junior.

PHX has a lot of very senior captains and then the seniority follows a normal curve after that. I would say it trends senior and only like 15 to 20 percent commute.
