What is it about SWA that makes some here so unhappy, that would be better at another airline?

I’m just looking for data. I get that some are just unhappy at work, but I read the same posts on every carrier’s sub forum.

I’m trying to suss out specifics that I may be ignorant of.

Best,
Most of the guys on here are typical pilots: give them a bag of gold and they'll complain it's too heavy.
This is an airline(they are all the same). If you wanna work here, great.
Don't listen to these guys. On the interview when asked "where else have you applied ", you won't have to lie.

It’s most certainly not “all the same”. Personally it’s my fourth and they’ve all had very different cultures and have been rather different work experiences.

Let me guess….it’s your one and only 121 gig? If not then you can’t possibly say that and mean it.

No, it's not. But SWA is the best I've worked for, hands down.
Everyday i come to work they shove a ton of money in my pocket.

That’s well and good but can’t genuinely say that all airlines are the same to work for.

Don’t you mean Oz? Fetterman beat him…so whatever he did, he was still better than Oz…

I’m gonna go out on the limb and guess you’re an automatic YES vote on TA1. 🤦‍♂️

That GENUINELY made me lol, really. Thank you.
But that is not true. It may seem that way. I'm not saying that YOU or anyone else here specifically is, but I'm not a whiner. I will vote yes for certain things. My auto NO:
prefbid, lack of good changes to LTD.
and in the survey, i was 20% snap

Try 40% and then maybe we can talk about the other stuff.

Curious how much of Fetterman's votes came from the early mail in vote BEFORE the debate. I don't know anyone who can say with a straight face after watching that that he was the best candidate. It was a train wreck....dude was/is mentally compromised due to the stroke. I doubt he makes it all 6 years.

Oz’s comment about voting before the Steeler game was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back. He came off as an elitist carpetbagger throughout the campaign, but not knowing when the Steelers play is a cardinal sin in da’Burgh.

Seriously though, can we all sit down and agree that there are very few GOOD candidates from either side? Marjory Taylor Greene? Lauren Boebert? Herschel Walker? AOC? Biden? (I like the guy, but he’s way too old and easily confused) Bernie? Heck the defacto leader of the Republican Party had dinner with Kanye and an honest to goodness Nazi! The bad guy from pretty much every Bond movie - and barely anybody denounced it?! These guys shouldn’t be politicians, they should be putting advertisements under windshield wipers in the Walmart parking lot.

Agreeing that both sides need to stop running low quality candidates, and that civil political discourse needs to return to DC is the first step to getting the democracy back on track.
