Again, I don’t have an F350. Sorry your time
on Wall Street didn’t pan out. But I do know that it takes $50/barrel to make money on oil coming out of the ground, and I wasn’t born yesterday.
What I don’t need is for an MBA in Wall Street that converted to flying airplanes to **** down my back and tell me it’s raining. And I’m guessing I was right about the Tesla or Prius.
The current administration will look much different after the mid-term elections. And it’s the economy.
Again, Happy Thanksgiving.

BTW I’m not ****ing down your back telling you it’s raining. I’m telling you that you didn’t see the truck drive down the street that splashed you because you were too busy looking up for the rain cloud on a sunny day. Now you are blaming me because you are wet….
No EV for me though a BMW i8 is on my wish list.

Seriously guys - this brain measuring is about as productive as measuring other parts of your anatomy.
The DEM wits and the REP angry reds are NEVER going to agree because of something you write here. PLEASE, let it go and let’s try to help those that are genuinely seeking useful advice and guidance on how to further their careers.
Meanwhile, back to the topic at hand……

Crunching the career earnings numbers between F9 and SWA - SWA still comes out ahead in numbers alone in spite of the massive projected growth at F9 and 2 yr upgrade. They also have great flexibility and many of the same domiciles as SWA.
My point in bringing this up, is the current gripes are valid - but there’s plenty of places out there which are less than desirable.
In comparing UA, AA, or DL with SWA - it’s clearly dependent on what the priority is of the interested pilot.

SWA comes out ahead even with the rapid upgrade at Frontier? That surprises me a bit. I would have guessed that the Delta between Captain pay at Frontier and FO at SWA would grow so large over the 8 additional years before the SWA guy upgrades it would be impossible to catch up.
The problem with any of this math with SWA of course is that there are no real limits on how much you can fly so theoretically an FO could bust their butt and narrow the gap.

Trying to bring this back on topic a bit. Major Black Friday Sale as someone else said on all the Airline Stocks today especially the Big 3 Legacies. The reason? You guessed it, another Covid variant and the fear that International Travel will be shutdown once again. The reason I’m bringing that up is to remind everyone that you could be staring down a potential furlough if things go South again. If I were looking to make a move, I might just wait things out for awhile and make sure I’m not jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire. The WARN notices not withstanding, I’d much rather be on a Seniority List with an Airline with $17 Billion in the bank and not a lot of debt, than roll the dice that the next wave of the pandemic is going to cause me a potential furlough at my next Airline.
