Things will be different this time! You'll see!! The 1,221 and SWAPA 2.0 and stuff!!! And a pilot shortage!!!!!
Ya, I'm jaded. I really do hope it is different this time. But having seen this pilot group in action over many years, I've learned SAIEW is how it goes around here.

One lesson this this pilot group has never learned, is that money isn’t everything. There’s no price you can put on promises broken to a spouse or child.
The next CBA desperately needs a mechanism to opt IN or opt OUT of future extensions or JA. We also need a mechanism within CWA to automatically put JAs in giveaway (with pay reflected correctly), and send text alerts to interested bidders. And to make them more attractive, JAs need to pay double time on what you fly OR DOUBLE TIME ON THE RIGS, which ever is greater!
Until it is just as easy to fly LESS as it is to fly MORE, we can’t brag about industry leading flexibility. Some of us work to live…as opposed to those who live to work.

But remember, despite all the bluster about "The Platform" being a solid floor and despite every BOD member signing a letter declaring that they'd settle for nothing less than The Platform, we settled for roughly $1.1 Billion (with a "B") less than The Platform.
Mediation hasn't even been entered into yet.
And the company is "comfortable" with the existing language.
Maybe if our pilot group was filled with Ukrainians, we'd have a shot. But it's not.
