Today's SWAPA Number is 892. That's the number of planned CQT move-ups from August and September to June of this year. As you can imagine, this will have a definite impact on flying for the month.

FYI…We were asked by Mx to do 5 engine runs last week in MCO. In compliance with the CBA, I called scheduling and they credited my TFP for the day to include the 5 engine runs. Two days later I received a call from the CPs office telling me I would only be credited with ONE TFP and my pay was adjusted accordingly. Of course I reached out to CA at SWAPA and Maria took care of it. 5 total additional trips added to my total for the day.
Lesson…don’t expect ANYONE to research the contract before they call you and tell you how much you will be paid (based on an email from scheduling).
Know the contract.
Also…They failed to add the same TFPs to the FO’s day (and he did most, if not all the work). Following up on that now. Hard to imagine they wouldn’t realize it takes two of us to do an engine run.
Trust no one.

CP work for the company. If you ever have to talk with one or they call you about something your first step is to contact your rep. That's the process, you're not going to hurt your CP's feelings if the CP is a good one.

This is sage advice for sure. The CP is not your friend generally and has the companies interests, not yours, in mind.
