We’re comparing to DAL 73 and 75 but the big three all have the same pay scales and the 75 and 76 pay the same.

The pay raise is 29+ % which equates to what CAs and FOs get compared to other aircraft, but the intention wasn’t to beat particular aircraft, it was to be a significant pay raise; 29% now and 50% over the duration. If you want more than 76 pay then you need to be at an airline that flies those aircraft.

Whether that’s enough along with all the soft money and other improvements is a personal decision.

100%. Everyone is obsessed w/ comparing it to Delta and they need to get over it. It's top of the industry pay and great QOL improvements. Would you trade $7 for mostly 4/5 day trips? No you wouldn't. I know it’s unbecoming of pilots to be happy about anything, but we should sit back and try for a change.

I’ll let you guys fight it out over a 50% pay raise being too low. Maybe you can persuade 5501 pilots to go along with you.
Seriously. Some of you guys are just ridiculous 🙄

I believe he is using pre-Contract 2020 numbers.

Kit Darby hates SWA and never skips an opportunity to bash them. I attended a career event in the early 90's where he proclaimed that United was going to show Southwest how to run an airline with TED.

This!!! His disdain for Southwest was always known. Full disclosure I am an originally tranny but I attended enough of his seminars to remember him saying stuff about Southwest.

Why did you get a job at an airline with no wide bodies if you want to get paid wide body rates?
