I was expecting $327 TFP which would fall in line with 321NEO pay rates.

I know it’s cool to be a “hard no”.. but let’s try to at least be objective here
Nope, we are not. 321NEO and 757 are narrow body aircraft. We needed to be > $327 TFP to make that.

So Kit Darby is saying 16.3 million in career earnings at SWA and 22 million in career earnings at Delta (over a 40 year career). Where are these numbers coming from? A 6 million dollar difference?

My first impressions... so far, the pay rates seem to have fallen a tad short for the captains through '26. I'm far more interested in dissecting LCO, new work rules, learn the new games to be played because that's where the money is.

Disability? They weren't kidding when they said that it'll be no-BS industry-leading. It is... hands down. That was my #1 ask in this contract and they exceeded my expectations. Retirement, I also think it's industry-leading with MBCBP company contributions.

Haven't quite delved too deeply into work rules yet. 417 pages of stuff to go through; YouTube videos and podcasts.... lots of education and roadshows. Also waiting to see the SWAPA retro calculator as well.

Willing to die on a hill for 10 TFP, everyone seems obsessed with what we get at min guarantee so let's do some napkin math here. 10 TFP x 89 trips (31 Day Month)=$890. 364/hr x 73 (29 Day Month)=$26,572 vs. UAL 359/hr x 70 (any month)=$25,130 or Delta 359/hr x 65 (any month)=$23,335. So AT MINIMUM GUARANTEE which is everyone's benchmark here, the difference in monthly wages at top pay 737-9 Captain, SWA makes 1442 more per month than United and 3237 more than at Delta and we're out here worried about 890 bucks. Wait, wait, wait, I know what you're gonna say now "they work way more than those guarantees", and so does the average Southwest pilot.

When did the FAA drop the requirement to read and understand english?

Stupidity in full effect here and on FB

Retirement and Disabilty look to be big wins.

Pay? Im seeing things that look to be big boosters to monthly credit.

Going to have to learn a whole new game.
