The person you’re responding to created an account six months ago with the original sole intention to ask questions about American and expressed interest in leaving SWA for AA. Also ironically wrote, “Delta and United are out of the picture”.
Honestly how funny is that haha! I wonder what happened… 😬

"You are not required to furnish more than one seat per ticket or to provide a seat in a class of service other than the one the passenger has purchased in order to provide an accommodation required by this part."
I have no idea how the specifics will work as far as enforcing this, but the medical preboards who didn't buy extra legroom seats can absolutely be required to go back to the standard coach seats.

The Air Carrier Access Act doesn't allow them to grab just any seat they want. Its directive to the airlines is very specific:
"You are not required to furnish more than one seat per ticket or to provide a seat in a class of service other than the one the passenger has purchased in order to provide an accommodation required by this part."
I have no idea how the specifics will work as far as enforcing this, but the medical preboards who didn't buy extra legroom seats can absolutely be required to go back to the standard coach seats.

SWA can easily sell open seating but in a specific cabin. If the "business cabin" is sold out, they'll darn well enforce cabin assignments... as opposed to send the actual business traveller who paid for it back to the middle no-recline lav-view seat. If not sold out will they just tolerate pre-board squatters? My guess is that would just set a bad precedent for when it is sold out.

You have not idea how out of touch to the real world WN Headquarters is along with the 750 VPs . All they know is pilots should not make more than a VP , and when the pickleball Court times are set .

Why don't you show your numbers that we have 750 VP's. Also back up your claim any VP has said a pilot here should not make more than them. You guys make a lot of accusations, but you never back any of it up. So back it up. And whats up with the pickle ball court? There always been some kind of court out there. Baskeball, volleyball. So what's the big deal?
