I won’t waste my time again.
I got myself pulled at the least convenient point to him and the company. Made sure he missed a commute. Oh well.

Sorry bud, but you're a victim of your own choices. Framing yourself as a helpless victim only guarantees it continues. You have the tools, the authority and the responsibility to shut it down... Some 20 years ago, I made a decision: I will not tolerate overbearing, unsafe, or abusive captains... Period. And I haven't since. I've handled it passive-aggressively, aggressively but politely and straight-up brutally honest when needed... Some snap out of it through self-awareness; others straighten up because they realize they're not flying with someone who will put up with their sh!t. Either way, the trip dramatically improves.
Don't tolerate tyrants... I don't want my loved ones in the back of the plane flown by a tyrant and a weak and timid FO. Our crews and pax deserve better.

Nice job
Years ago when we still did vacation trades by paper , I changed my mind on the vacation trade with a very senior 4 digit Dallas captain. His buddy from pro standards called me and lectured me on how this is not the southwest way. Pro standards told me that if I do not do the trade they will go to the Dallas chief pilot and get me fired. I was not based in Dallas .
Needed to say I did not do the trade and my base CP said they can go F themselves, when I told him the story .

I’ll still go to PS before I go to a chief. That being said, I was on an overnight during my probationary year. The captain bought me a couple of beers and then lost his mind in the bar when he asked who I voted for in the big election. It was embarrassing because other people at the bar started getting in his face in my defense (I was not engaging).
Next day I got an apology. He was the Pro Standards rep. LOL

There's a fine line with what should be handled by Pro Standards and what should rise to the level of CP. The first stop SHOULD always be Pro Standards. If the guy is a "known quantity, thank you for the datapoint" they'll tell you it's up to you if you want to go to the chiefs.
First stop should always be resolving this on your own. Speak up. There's a time and place for everything. You can solve a lot of things in cruise for minor stuff, at the gate for others, or even at the bar when the day's done. The worst thing to do is clamming up and stewing on it. Be diplomatic, be polite but firm. I'd say 99% of the time, your trip will drastically improve.
The next stop is Pro Standards if you feel you can barely work with or talk with the guy. If you truly can't work with him, call Scheduling and have them reassign you. If you have to talk to NOC chief, so be it. Some personalities do not mesh well, and the name of the game is safety...
If Pro Stan tells you they're a known quantity and thank you for the datapoint, then it may warrant a visit to the chief, filling out an IR or whatever the chief asks you to do. As SWAPA would say, don't just go VFR direct to chiefs....
