“No openings” usually doesn’t mean no openings

How about we learn from this and push for NO DISPLACEMENTS?

If the company wants to move hundreds of pilots across the country they can:
-offer incentive pay plus free moves for those who chose to move
-offer voluntary TDYs with hotels or deadhead lines from current base for those that don’t want to move
-save some of those sweet DEN DEN DEN 4 days for the pilots displaced from there

If they run out of volunteers all displaced pilots receive:
-must ride deadheads
-hotels

FOR THE DURATION OF THE DISPLACEMENT

10,000%.

I’ve been putting all of this in every survey sent out by the Union. This is my line in the sand for this cycle.

while I agree i hope we dont sell anything off good for this. I still get a spidy sense the company did this just to have something to negotiate.

Thats up to us to shut down I reckon. Can’t imagine they signed on to our LOL without some serious persuasion…having OAL’s with a similar LOL didn’t hurt. Pretty sure the big 3 have TDY lines so it’s not a stretch…

I also want another week of VA. UAL/AA top out at 6 weeks. Not sure what DL has. Pay will rise to match OAL’s. Same with retirement funding. We don’t need a full rewrite like last time…just need to fix some things like displacement language, etc
