I think the highest time civilian guy in my class had something like 16,000 hours

3 guys in my class no degree, so it's not excluding. Definitely helps though.

Thank you. I've def been "flying" 2/5 years, but I've been in helicopters for the past 3 1/2. I have my 737 Type and meet all the criteria but I have a feeling the lack of FW recency is def a hindrance. I'm about to remedy that part though with a change in careers. Thanks again.

Over 10,000 TT is not uncommon at SW. Civilian average is still in the 7000 range from what I hear.

7000 in my class as a civie would have been on the very low end. I'd say low teens was about average with the high guy around 25k (over 20 years at a regional). The military guys were all less than 5000 hours...

Does SWA require X number of hours flown in the past 12 months to be considered? Assuming you meet all the other requirements.
