Civilian TPIC in my class (Jan 2017) ranged from 1500 to 6000ish.
The three with 1500 were from the regionals, not checkairman.

Mil guys now are the children of sequestration so expect those times to dip lower, especially for fighter types.
Do you know if that 2,000-2,500 for mil guys includes the conversion rate, or is it raw time which means the # Southwest saw was actually higher?

I am using raw numbers although with the .3 per sortie conversion, many can get a bit of a bump. That conversion mostly helps the single seat guys since their hours are harder to come by and their sortie count to hours ratio is really high.

New to APC and this thread. Appreciate all the insight. Only place I'm trying to get onto is SWA, I meet all the requirements (about 6k TT, 1300 FWPIC) but no recency in FW. So I'm wondering if that's why I may not be getting called. Anyone know how much recency plays into the equation?? Thanks in advance. Dwtsn

Officially, it's just actively flying 2 of the last 5 years. But, I've seen some recent hires mention over 100 hours in the last 12 months seemed to be a trigger for an interview invite.

Is anyone getting called w/o a four year degree? I'm fairly sure thats the only reason I'm not getting the call.

Total time looks a little low. Got that failure to explain away. No degree.

Figured the total time would be about on par, maybe not. I know the failure will have to be explained, was on a circle in corporate jet (sim). But, I feel like the degree is the largest hurdle I have, which is why I was asking if anyone has been called without one or know anyone in class without one.
