If someone picks up a trip, why the secrecy needed? Its not like the info isn't posted and trip assignments are available to see who gets them, they are. Don't we need to see who gets trips for transparency? We have guys abusing the contract.
If there is nothing wrong with picking up a trip, why would that pilot care if they are attached to that trip? If the FO asks them "did you get this on RES," should they lie and say "Yes," or "I took a JRM"
If you are willing to take the trip, you should have zero problem owning it. Too much is done in the shadows here.
Now this may seem like a punk move to you, but you have been here for what, 6 months? Maybe the anger for some has risen to the point where they would like to see people take accountability for their actions.
With respect, many here needed more than 2400TT to get hired here and are tired of seeing their peers pass them by.

Am I allowed to drop trips and pick up others for a higher value? Or is that helping the company?
I'm having a hard time paying off my debt from my first year here. Funny, first year pay used to be higher in the last contract yet you guys are accusing others of being selfish.
And it is better than our regionals. Why else would anyone come here?
