Just wait until you start scraping the real bottom of the barrel. I won't say which, but one regional giving 20+ sims and 100 hrs IOE. And they have horrible attitudes on top of it.

Just wait. It's coming sooner than you think. Lol.

It has changed. You and you dependents get to travel from day 1 or as soon as you do the paperwork. Insurance still 90 days and CASS as soon as your background check is complete. You are an employee from day 1. All the paperwork you sign says you are an employee pending background check.

That's one option. Another one might be to actually pay attention to what Hatchet tells you, and be a better pilot for it. All he asks is that you come prepared.

Im calling bs on that one. Although he seems to have good intentions, his delivery is uncalled for. I don't know if its ego or what but he does not set you at ease. Is more of a hostile environment. Don't need sunshine blown up my ass but he could at least smile on occasion!! Comes of more as a pompous prick!

I was in a neighboring room during one of his debriefs. Knowing who he was debriefing I can easily say at LEAST half of what he was saying was BS. Just uncalled for and rude.

I just got that yesterday! lol. Immediately after I applied, I got a link for one that was more of a cognitive test. Then yesterday (Almost a month since i submitted the app), I got another email with this one. Its exclusively a personality assessment (Strongly agree thru strongly disagree).

I guess well see what happens.

If y'all get hired here just remember to keep you apps out at the majors and SWA. This is not a career airline unless you can't get anywhere else.

Default Bases

What are spirits bases from most junior to most senior? Where do new hires generally start off?

All new hires go primarily to ACY or FLL right now. You can hold any base within a couple months. ACY, FLL, DTW are most junior then ORD, DFW, LAS are most senior.
