Is this thing going to pass??

Absolutely, no one at SWA complaining about JA (the assignment, not the quid pro quo guy), because money. At SWA the grid improves during the month because people pick up time. Here the grid turns solid red because people drop. More money motivates more.

I’m sorry. Who do you work for? Thanks for your two cents but nobody asked you. We may not be on par with the big 3 this time aroud but every captain on property will be making doctor money starting 3/1. That measures up for me!
NK pilots needs to decide for themselves if this TA is what they want. Not get uneducated opinions from some bored outsider.

I remember distinctly our 97 contract. APA said they were done, its a good deal and there is nothing more to be had. " Pilots Defending the Profession" sprung up ( pre widespread internet) and lobbied hard for the agreement to be defeated which it was. This led to the embarrassing 20 sec strike. Both parties went back to the table and gains were made on a variety of issues notably length of service for guys furloughed in the early eighties and nineties. This after APA legal advised every member to vote for the first TA...
Granted. ALPA is not APA, arguably the most inept " union" in the history of labor. You have nothing to lose by voting NO. Zero.

Concessionary in a variety of ways. In my humble opinion you are giving away PBS and scope too cheap. Some scheduling changes as well such as being told to stay at the airport at the end of a duty day..Other little things. In any case, Jblue will probably have a contract fairly soon. They will probably end up with higher pay rates. AA opens section 6 next year and UAL shortly thereafter if memory serves. It's entirely possible You could end up at the bottom of the pile again on pay.

Seriously? You’re coming here to lecture us about the mighty APA? The same union that let Crandell have the “B” scale in the ‘80s and got fined $45 million in ‘99 for their little sickout? Please just go away and leave us little Spirit Pilots alone.

So you are the dumb one. Lol. My sister is a doctor of pediatrics, I’ll easily surpass her with this new TA. Plus every er doc won’t come close. Not defending it but other than the handful that you named, doctors make crap and work about a 100 hours a week.
