Heard from a new hire that the PLAN B heath care option was not available to them. Only people who had it were "grandfathered in".
Anyone else hear this??
Does it stop next year altogether?
WTF?

Yeah that was in the contract that everyone (70%) voted for. No one new can be on it, thankfully I was. Pretty sure it will be going away in our next contract.

It’s been said before and the union put out a very comprehensive cost and coverage analysis last year. There really isn’t a reason to be on any other plan than the health fund diamond. Same coverage less money. Did did a healthy and catostrophic year analysis. Healthfund diamond plan won both times.

I read that as: "money, THEY (THE UNION) did a ....". but I could be wrong.

Nope just putting the information out there.

Sorry for the spelling error. THEY (SPA RI committee) did an analysis...

Just putting incorrect info out there? Thanks, I guess.

Btw, THEY were wrong too. Ok, maybe not wrong, but at least slightly misleading.

Seriously... run the numbers. I have a hard time believing you can find a scenario where the B plan beats the Health Diamond HRA.
