Referencing JetBlue their rates only beat us on the Airbus, not the C Series or the 190. If they had a blended rate for 99-178 seats their rate would probably match or be slightly below. The devil is in the details.

To be fair since all we have (right now) are airbus that’s what I’m comparing. All the details aren’t out (that I know of) but I’m pretty sure I also noticed a $13.00 an hour (retained) override for red eyes, higher ltd max then we got as well. Yes I know their health ins is worse then ours that’s why I’m interested to see what it will be. We will see how good it actually is when everything is released, but if anyone’s looking I’d look at JB before us.

Lol, I dunno, I can’t live my life constantly comparing. If I did that I’d never be happy. We have nice airplane to fly (except for the POS NEOs, lol), pilot friendly Chiefs, good instructors that do a great job with what little tools they are given and we just signed a solid contract. Im glad JB is leap frogging us, I hope F9 does too.
Anyway, to the new guys, welcome!! Negotiations sucked but they are over. Good place to work with great crews! I can certainlyunderstand why some guys are so bitter but FFS, don’t give this place that much power/control in your life.

What are your chances of getting the Airbus or 190 over there as a new hire? There’s a really good chance you get stuck sitting in a 190 flying regional routes in the north east. I agree with most of your points but I wouldn’t pass on a Spirit job hoping JetBlue calls.

What’s not to like about the NEOs? They stopped working during our negotiations and now they’re flying fine? Coincidence?
