How does that equate to savings? I have to assume a boring office park is cheaper than a fancy headquarters. Isn’t spirit all about cost. Looks like they could have given us 16% retirement day one, and legacy rates, and profit sharing.

He did say "over 300 aircraft by the mid 2020's". So that was good.
Agreed, they’re definitely sticking to it! Was hoping this would be the order announcement, but glad we’re eventually moving out of that crappy FBO.

Funny. Blame hurricanes and weather for operational problems and then spend all that money, not inclusive the cost of the sims I’m guessing, and then place this new HQ in a flood zone a couple of miles from the ocean.

737 is an all around POS.. It was brought up by someone that the delay in the announcement seem to coincide with the rolling delays in bringing back the MAX. If the new aircraft order gets pushed back again I hate to admit the the 737 is strong possibility..

I have several friends at SWA and all seem to have chronic back issues as a result of the seats. Flights exceeding 3 hours are deemed tortuous. And the 737 cabin seems claustrophobic and more tubular compared to the Airbus or A220 cabins. If Spirit were to order the MAX, no doubt it would be due to a fantastic deal/price from Boeing.
