If Ted is considering the airline #2 so should we. Fly safe, call fatigued if tired, if sick call out. I wouldn’t expend one ounce above what I’m legally/contractually required to do.

If you're not doing these things when appropriate regardless of what may or may not be going on in the C-suite, then you're doing it wrong.

Time for a bump..
Looks like Spirit is ripe for an Independence Day meltdown with the calls going out.
Remember that currently Spirit management is also not recognizing the limits on availability for the Y list that pilots are choosing. The example by the MEC was pilots can say they are available to work Y list on July 1-3rd, and the company currently believes that they can call you on the 3rd for a Y list trip that operates in excess of the 3rd. So Y listers, be careful if you answer your phone, you might find yourself tagged with a trip over holiday days you thought were safe.
Bottom line.....Going to be nasty this next week for Spirit with our staffing and the amount of flights needing to be covered.

Unless I am sure I want the trip, I’ll always let it go to voicemail, but I’ve taken myself of the Y list till this is resolved. They will then use Master XY, and I can just refuse the trip (just a suggestion).

Rsv grids green for 7/1 and 7/2 in a couple bases including FL. I don’t think there will be any staffing issues. Hope this post ages horribly however with spirits flight cuts there are more daily reserves in every base. (Except las)

I’ve never done Y list because it’s essentially reserve in my mind, you pick up, you’re working. But I know a lot of guys Y list and probably glanced over the email

Hate to be the bearer of bad news; but Spirit has zero cancels today. (Other then the pre canceled stuff a month ago which is not reported in daily cancels)
day trip airline is working
Hey legacy pilots! Spirit is hiring!
