That’s not what I’m arguing. It’s stupid they make it your responsibility to put bits and pieces of different manuals together to make the required call out.
As far as I’m concerned it’s it not in the double line box in Com Vol. 1 for the memory iteams then I’m not going to memorize it. Let us know what your Examiner/check airman says when you tell him that. |
It’s good to hear the positive stories and I appreciate everyone’s advice and info.
I’m assuming the dress code during class and sim is business casual? Is a nice pair of jeans acceptable? |

Everyone has been great and all the help is much appreciated.
Think I just have one more question to quiet all those weird questions that pop into my mind at 3am: Where do we stay during training? Is it the Marriott by Bass Pro Shop where they do the interviews? Are there any grocery stores around to pick up bologna and white bread for lunch? Thanks. |

Sheraton in plantation. Publix within walking distance
People get 3-4 dinners a week covered, a comfortable large apartment style room which is suitable for 4-6 weeks of living in. The Sheraton was okay, but not at all close. Everyone in my class brought their car, but if you had to actually take the van every day... At least there is a ton around the hotel, but we can do better. |

Why we don’t put people up at the Residence Inn, 3 minutes away from the TC, is completely stupid.

I start class Nov 18th and I plan on driving down, but it depends on if I’m going to be sent to Dallas for training. I live in Dallas and I don’t want to drive my truck 20 hours away, just to be sent home for training sessions for a few weeks. Will we have our full schedule before we go, so I can make that decision?

Once you start doing the procedures trainers and sims, you and your sim partner will have slightly different event times and days off from other classmates, so if he/she does not have a car, it would be more handy to have a ride. In other words, if you want to save a drive you could wait until after your week home for systems study and then drive down for the “second half” when it’s much more handy to have your own wheels. Edit: that is if you do your sims in FLL |
