Did I miss something? My welcome package said Flows, limitations, and memory items. I don't see any mention of callouts. Where would those be located?
In the new hire flow guide, I believe it’s listed on the last few pages. However I think they just give you the approach call outs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Download the A320 Cockpit App (iPhone - not 100% sure about Android)
This app has all company flows and limitations flash cards and other system/oral type flash cards. It is a terrific app and absolutely worth the $50 some bucks that it is. Almost exclusively used that app to study and training went well. |

As far as the flows go, did you find it easier to learn all of the fo flows first then all the capt flows or learn both at the same time for the same phase of flight?

I don't have a personal iPad but seem to be doing okay with the paper cockpit. Definitely sending myself bonkers with the flows but slowly progressing. I found that combining all the memory items into a spreadsheet it makes it easier too.

The flow guide has the majority of them. It just doesn’t have the approach callouts or reading of the FMA. But, no. You didn’t miss something. Like I said, if you know all that, you’ll be ahead of the game.

Thanks. With regard to the flows, the preliminary cockpit prep, does this have to be memorized as a flow? I noticed in the AOM normal procedures it say's it can be performed from memory or with the use of the AOM, it also says the same for PM/PF cockpit prep as well. So do the actual flows start with the Before Start Flow? Thanks!
The instructors will expect you to have them memorized. You will also get evaluated at the end of week two. The evaluation will be flows, DIFSRIP, ABBBA TOPHAT CANE, and call outs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
From a previous pilots recommendation, I used 1stepprep.com for their oral prep and systems review. Excellent and guaranteed money back if you don’t pass. Their online videos were efficient and put together extremely well. Was a better learning experience and more efficient option then the “hey go read the AOM vol 1 your oral is in three weeks.”
